5 Ways to Liven up Your Christmas Party
Hello friends! I hope that you all are as excited for the holidays as I am! My apartment is beautifully decorated, I have chocolate chip cookies in the oven, and I currently have Christmas socks on while writing this. There’s so much that I love about Christmas like the ugly sweaters (that I find super cute) and all the pretty lights but there’s something that I find way more important. Forgive me for sounding corny, but I think that coming together with family and friends has to be the best part about the holiday season. Since I live 7 hours away from my family, I get to celebrate a bit of Christmas with close friends in Tallahassee. It’s always good to catch up with friends, especially since the semester gets hectic and everyone kind of goes their own way. If you’re corny like me, then you’ve probably thrown or thought of throwing a Christmas party to unite your friends. I’ve come together with a few ideas to make your party the one that all your friends will remember.
Christmas Music
This is a must. Everyone loves Christmas music and it’s not a Christmas party without it. Blast Mariah Carey and I can guarantee you that everyone will start singing. You’ll also have a great laugh hearing everyone trying to hit that high note.
Photo Booth
This seems a little extra for a party that you’re going to be throwing in a college apartment but hear me out. This could literally be on a section of your wall. Just add streamers and lights. Have a bucket on the side with reindeer antlers, Santa hats, and elf hats so that people could wear. It’ll create some memorable pictures
Have Santa Red Solo Cups
Wrap a black piece of cloth on a red solo cup. Add a silver square in the middle. It’ll look like Santa’s belt. It’s cute and pretty funny to look at, so why not?
Rudolph Race
So I was scrolling through Pinterest and I saw the coolest article with holiday games. What you do is put your nose on Vaseline (hear me out) and try to attach it to a red pom. Once you can get the red pom to stick to your nose, you have to attach it to Rudolph’s nose (a poster on the wall). Do this with a person and see who can give Rudolph his red nose first! Check out “25 Hilarious Minute To Win It Style Christmas Games” for more cool games!
Cookie Decorating Bar
Instead of just baking cookies and having your friends eat them, how about getting frosting and candy to put on the cookies? You could even make gingerbread shaped cookies and put cute faces on them!
