Job Description

Summary: 

Our award-winning client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team.The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the healthcare team responsible for providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients. This position requires a high level of clinical expertise, critical thinking skills, and a strong commitment to patient well-being. The RN will assess patient conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including obtaining medical history, vital signs, and physical examinations.
  • Identify and address patient needs and concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical orders.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Administer medications accurately and safely, following all protocols and regulations.
  • Calculate and prepare dosages.
  • Provide direct patient care, including performing procedures, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living.
  • Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care measures.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health workers, to ensure optimal patient care.
  • May supervise and mentor junior staff members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN license in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
