Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at Paralympic Resident Team, you will lead swimming programs and offer tailored individual and group lessons for children of different age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, possess excellent communication skills, and can inspire young swimmers to appreciate and enjoy the water. We are currently seeking a motivated Swim Instructor from to join our team at Paralympic Resident Team in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial, as it demonstrates an understanding of working with children in a structured environment!
