As a Swim Instructor at Pagosa Lakes Porpoises, you will take the lead on swimming programs and provide personalized lessons for children of different age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, have great communication skills, and can motivate young swimmers to develop a love for the water. We are currently seeking a enthusiastic and motivated Swim Instructor to join our team and support our Pagosa Lakes Porpoises in Pagosa Springs, CO.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance as needed

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial, demonstrating an understanding of working with children in a structured environment!
• A love and passion for swimming and children!
