IES Abroad Nice Summer Multiculturalism & Immigration
The sunshine, the famous coastline, the lively art scene--Nice is an ideal summer location on the French Riviera. Having attracted immigrants from a variety of countries, Nice has also become a wonderfully diverse port city, making it the perfect place to study abroad if you are interested in learning more about the growing diversity of France, the Mediterranean basin, and Europe as a whole.
On our Multiculturalism in France Summer Program, you will learn about the immigrant migration that has taken place over the years and enhance your cultural understanding. Along with our required three-credit French course, you also enroll in a three-credit course in Economics, Political Science, Religion, or Sociology for a total of six credits. Outside of the classroom, you will enjoy field trips and course-related excursions to discover the culture and traditions of France and beyond.
