SIT Study Abroad: Iceland: Renewable Energy (Summer 1)
On the Iceland: Renewable Energy, Technology & Resource Economics (Summer 1) program, you meet with multiple stakeholders connected with this sector to gain a multifaceted view of the countrys energy policy and its latest renewable energy technologies. Plus, immerse yourself in Icelandic culture and language and discover an untamed landscape from Akureyri, an energyprogressive city at the base of a fjord. With untapped reserves of enough geothermal and hydroelectric energy, Iceland is the perfect place to learn about renewable sources and sustainability.
