A Year of French Language and Culture in Paris
Dive into exciting, new cultural and personal experiences with the combination of language and civilization at the Cours de civilisation franaise de la Sorbonne! Imagine a year of living like a local in Paris!
This program promises a comprehensive learning experience emphasizing language acquisition, pronunciation through phonetics, and insights into French civilization through lectures. Teachers use a holistic approach to ensure you learn the language and understand the cultural context in which it is used.
The CCFS offer two annual (20 or 24 weeks of class) programs, open to all levels (from absolute beginners to advanced):
- General French (AN40), starting every September, January and June: 2 hours of language per day + 1 hour of phonetics per day every other week + cultural lectures
- Reinforced French (AN50), starting every October: a first short semester (8 weeks) combining language, phonetics and written and oral reinforcement and a longer second semester (12 weeks) similar to the AN40
We also offer the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in the language and culture by living with a French host family!
