Paris: Short-Term - Art History, Language & Urban Identities

Join a class at the Orsay Museum or a discussion on social and racial justice with a local hip-hop artist. These are just two examples of what to expect from APA's three-week, short-term programs in Paris.

Field trips and guest speakers abound in every course! Students follow one course, worth four credit hours.

June courses are taught in English:
- Power, Beauty, and Revolution: 19th Century Art and Architecture in the Paris Metropole
- Urban Identities, Popular Culture, and French Multiculturalism

August courses are taught in French:
- Intermediate French Language
- Power, Beauty, and Revolution: 19th Century Art and Architecture in the Paris Metropole
- Urban Identities, Popular Culture, and French Multiculturalism

*August participants may bundle this with an APA fall semester program for a discount.

A variety of cultural activities such as a visit to Monet's gardens at Giverny, a concert, and a bateau mouche boat ride on the Seine River are included along with housing in a student residence (unique for June, homestays are an option).

More information on our January program is coming soon.
