Leadership Academy in Boston, Massachusetts
The Young Diplomat Academy, a 2-week program, is ideal for students looking for an authentic pre-college experience and are interested in International Relations, International Business and Finance, Global and Environmental Studies, Global Leadership, and developing public speaking skills.
Each day focuses on a new and exciting global issue. You will examine the state of international relations and global politics, learn the fundamental issues affecting tomorrows international businesses and entrepreneurs, and address challenges to national security and environmental stability brought about by globalization and global climate change.
Students live at Suffolk University, right near the Boston Commons, have most meals in the dining hall, and take classes on Suffolk's campus. They may use the weight room and have access to swimming and basketball at a nearby facility. On weekdays, we give them the option to tour nearby colleges including Harvard University, Boston University, Tufts, Boston College, MIT, and Northeastern. In their free time during the week and on weekends, we offer a wide array of activities such as a tour of Fenway Park and comedy shows.
