My personal experiences helped me to understand that the best teachers connect with students on a deep level, provide them with high expectations, and then create learning environments for students to succeed and flourish. My doctoral background provided me with the theoretical frameworks of behavioral science towards motivating and engaging students, cognitive design of lesson plans to maximize student retention of information, and constructive lesson planning that amplifies student cognitive knowledge-building abilities. Finally, communicative language learning embodies the best methods of language learning over the last two centuries including the use of deductive, adductive, and inductive forms of language instruction that provide students with both formative language skills and interactive language fluency.
